Description: Quality antique cast iron door knocker. Super detail of an acanthus leaf with a brass cartouche. Dating from the 1800’s this door knocker is the perfect size for a Victorian or Georgian front door. The brass cartouche were designed to have the occupiers name engraved, they look equally smart left plain. I currently have a close matching one listed separately. (see last photo).

Condition: Excellent. Replacement threaded bar and nuts supplied for installation. This door knocker has been has been cleaned and is complete and in great working order.
