Description: Original, quality early Arts & Crafts period towel rail. Dating to the late 1800’s the brass rail has a barley twist stem which pivots 180 degrees. The backplate has 4 recessed screw holes for installation and a decorative Arts & Crafts surface pattern. Great size for a hand towel in a bathroom or kitchen.

Condition: Very good. The barley twist stem has a small solder repair to the back (see photo: 6 which shows this). An original quality period brass accessory. The brass has been lightly polished and is unlacquered, therefore a gentle polish with brass cleaner occasionally would be needed to maintain the shine.
