Description: Wonderful extra large solid brass antique front door knob. Dating from the 19th century. Solid brass quality casting weighing in at over 850g. Last photos give a sense of scale next to a classic front door knob. Fitted with a back screw, to fit a door depth of up to a maximum of 35mm. This rare and beautiful piece of door hardware would look stunning mounted to a front door.

Condition: Very good. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. This door knob has been lightly hand polished and left unlacquered. A gentle polish with brass cleaner occasionally will maintain this shine.
