Description: Quality bronze balustrade finial end. A decorative object in its own right it could be displayed as a sculpture as there is a small hole to the centre end, where it would once have been fixed to the balustrade. Stunning verdigris patina to the snail shell twist. This solid bronze casting weighs 1.8 kilos. It looks to be French in origin.

Condition: Excellent. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Carefully cleaned to maintain the patina and age of the piece.
