Description: Wonderful extra large brass antique front door knob. This exceptional cast brass door knob originates from Paris. The handle itself has a timeless and classical lobed pattern. Solid brass quality casting weighing in at over 2.5kg. The second photo gives a sense of scale next to a classic front door knob. This rare and beautiful piece of door hardware would look stunning mounted to a very large front door.

Condition: Excellent. Very slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Complete with its original lead backing, that acts as a cushion against the door. This handle has been lightly hand polished and left unlacquered. The 2 bolts are fairly short, if you need longer ones cutting I can do this, I’d just need to know the thickness of the door it’ll be attached to.
