Description: An original quality, antique door stop. Dating from the mid 1800’s this is a fine example in cast iron. The door stop has a rope twist column and loop handle, with a shaped plinth base and scroll leaf, tapering, gadrooned body. The back has the makers name Kenrick & Sons and the serial number 489. I have seen a similar shorter version of this model in the Royal Collection online catalogue.

Condition: Very good. The cast iron surface has been sensitively cleaned.
