Description: Large, rare French bath taps. These antique taps are very heavy and substantial deck-mounted bath taps, weighing in excess of 6 1/2 kg. They have a centrally mounted leaf shaped dish for soaps & a round dish which is the perfect size for a candle. Made of solid brass which has its original nickel plated finish. The ceramic indices show the Parisian manufacturers name and are marked Chaude & Froide. These taps would make an amazing centerpiece in any bathroom.

Condition: Very good. The taps have been fully restored and tested to mains pressure. With a copper pipe of 22mm braised to the outpipes, enabling them to be fully compatible with modern plumbing. Some slight signs of use to the ceramic indices & the original nickel plating, to be expected from the age of the taps.
