Description: Wonderful set of 3 original antique bathroom dishes. These are stamped with the makers mark Au Louvre Paris. The set includes 2 sponge dishes and a toothbrush cup holder. All pieces are in solid cast brass which has a good weight to it and has been nickel plated. The backplates are shaped in a classic, timeless French style and each has 2 holes for screws to enable them to be easily wall mounted. Unusual to find a set, these would look great positioned over a sink or bath.

Condition: Very good. I have kept the patina on these 3 pieces as it really adds to their character. The nickel plating has worn with age and use to reveal traces of the brass underneath. The toothbrush cup holder is missing its beaker, so this would need replacing with a new one. Each item is clearly stamped with the makers mark in tiny letters at the base of the mounting plates.
